Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy is grateful to the people he keeps around him. They saved his life on Tuesday.
Scrappy was rushed to the hospital when after suffering a severe asthma attack. The “No Problem” rhymer said, “I damn near died … if it weren’t for my driver, mom, and rap artist I would have died.” According to Lil Scrappy, he had been drinking heavily Monday night. When he woke up on Tuesday morning, he could barely breathe or speak. “I felt like I was dying,” Scrappy recounted.
Lil Scrappy’s team hauled him off to Emory Hospital where he was treated and released. Lil Scrappy says he just bought a nebulizer breathing machine and won’t leave home without it again.
